THE BOTTOM LINE

Before I begin my tax season hiatus – no new posts till after April 15^th – let me state the bottom line on Donald T Rump –

Trump is a totally worthless piece of garbage, completely devoid of humanity.

Trump does not possess a single positive redeeming human quality.

Trump has never performed a single totally unselfish positive act in his adult life.

Except when speaking to his core cult of ignorant racists at rallies, Trump is always the dumbest person in the room.

Trump is the textbook example of the ultimate narcissist and sociopath.

Trump’s only agenda as President is and always has been (1) feed his ego and (2) line his pockets.

TRUMP MUST GO!

HYPOCRISY, THEY NAME IS REPUBLICAN

Comparing the Trump impeachment to the Clinton impeachment emphasizes the hypocrisy of the Republican Party.

Ken Starr investigated the Clintons, Bill and Hillary, for a long time and could not find any evidence of actual legal wrong-doing.  After an extensive investigation all he could come up with was Bill’s consensual marital infidelity with Monica Lewinsky.  Clinton was impeached for lying about a blow-job.  The impeachment had absolutely nothing to do with any government or political corruption or wrong-doing.

{As an aside, it is interesting that the Republican leading the campaign for impeaching Trump for a consensual marital infidelity, Newt Gingrich, was himself engaging in consensual marital infidelity while he was criticizing Clinton’s.}

Trump’s impeachment involves actual corruption and a specific identifiable government and political wrong-doing.

{Another aside – during the Clinton impeachment process the Democrats supported and defended a highly intelligent, experienced and competent President.  Today the Republicans are supporting and defending the most ignorant and incompetent President in at least my lifetime with no government experience who is totally devoid of humanity.  Clinton was very often the smartest man in the room.  Trump is always the dumbest man in the room.}

Today’s Republicans, trying to defend the indefensible, say the impeachment of Trump is a purely political move by the Democrats to remove a Republican President from office. 

It seems to me that Republicans using a marital infidelity to impeach an otherwise qualified and competent President who was performing his duties properly is a purely political attempt to remove a Democratic President from office. 

And, while since taking office Trump has been guilty of a multitude of unethical, corrupt and potentially impeachable acts, Democrats put off calling for impeachment until there was a specific identifiable act that truly “crossed the line”.

The dictionary recently added a new additional definition of “hypocrite” –

2: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

Trump is obviously guilty of the offenses for which he has been impeached.  But I am not talking about Trump here.

The Republicans in the Senate who will vote “not guilty” in the impeachment trial of Donald J Trump are, if not all certainly all but a small handful, guilty of lying to Congress.

Every Senator had to publicly swear to the following oath, administered by Chief Justice Roberts on national tv (highlight is mine) –

"Do you solemnly swear that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of Donald John Trump, president of the United States, now pending, you will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws, so help you god?"

We all know that most, if not all, of the Republicans in the Senate will definitely not “do impartial justice” in the impeachment trial - and knew they would not "do impartial justice" when taking the oath.  They will not decide on their vote after carefully listening to and evaluating all of the testimony and evidence presented by the “prosecution” and the arguments of the “defense”.  They will totally ignore the testimony and evidence (many were not even listening to the House managers), and their oath, and do what they were told to do by Mitch McConnell before the trial even began – vote “not guilty”.

By stating for the record that they “promise to do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws” these Senators have lied to Congress.

Lying to Congress is a crime even if you are not under oath, which I would say the Senators were. Federal law prohibits making false statements to Congress. If false statements were made knowingly and willfully about material facts, it is punishable by up to five years in prison.

§ 1001. Statements or entries generally

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully—

(1) falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;

(2) makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or

(3) makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry;

shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years or, if the offense involves international or domestic terrorism (as defined in section 2331), imprisoned not more than 8 years, or both.

Hey – I look forward to the trial and sentencing of the Republican Senators.

DO PEOPLE HATE TRUMP?

Of course people hate Trump!

Hate is defined as “intense or passionate dislike”. 

Trump has certainly earned the hatred.  He is a hateful person – a totally worthless piece of garbage completely devoid of honor, humanity and integrity who does not possess a single redeeming positive human quality. 

People don’t hate Trump because he is a Republican or a conservative.  he is certainly not a conservative and he is a Republican in name only.  

Nor do they hate him, or are envious of him, because of his wealth and business success.  His wealth is inherited and increased by unethical and corrupt business practices, and he has had more business failures than successes

People hate what Trump says, tweets and does.  His words, tweets and actions generate intense and passionate reactions, especially since he is saying, writing and doing these things as the President of the United States. 

People hate Trump’s racism and his emboldening of racism, bigotry and white supremacy.

People hate what he is doing to America and American democracy and to America’s stature and standing in the international community.

There is absolutely nothing to “like” about Trump – except perhaps that he shares your racist and bigoted beliefs.  I truly dare anyone to give me a legitimate reason to like Trump.

The bottom line is, of course, TRUMP MUST GO!

TRUMP IS A FUCKING MORON!

Of all the reasons Trump is unfit to be President – and there truly are a multitude of reasons (as I have outlined in previous blog posts) – the most important, and the reason every American regardless of party affiliation and political philosophy must oppose and denounce him, is the proven fact that he is ignorant.

Rex Tillerson and John Kelly were right.  Trump is a moron and an idiot.

Trump is ignorant on the issues that faces America and the world.  And he clearly has no clue about the Constitution, how the government operates, or about the duties, responsibilities and limitations of the office of President.

What is perhaps worse - Trump has no desire to learn anything.  He doesn’t read.  And he doesn’t listen to advisers who are actually intelligent, educated and knowledgeable.  Any information he does get is from FOX News commentators – the only people he does listen to.

In his delusional mind, Trump actually thinks he knows everything better than anyone and can do anything better than anyone – when the reality is he doesn’t know anything about anything and can’t do anything better than anyone.

Trump is too dumb to know how dumb he really is.

Merely having a college degree - memorizing enough facts to pass enough tests over 50 years ago, assuming he didn’t cheat as he has done with everything else his entire adult life - doesn’t make Trump educated or smart.

Someone who is actually educated and smart does not have to constantly tell you how educated and smart he or she is, as Trump, the self-proclaimed “stable genius”, does.  If a person is truly educated and smart it is evident in what he says and does.  Every single thing Trump says and does provides additional confirmation of his ignorance.

Regardless of what you may think of Bill Clinton as a person, or of his political views, he was usually the smartest person in the room.  Trump is always the dumbest person in any room – except when he is addressing his core cult of fellow ignorant racists at his rallies.

A President who is ignorant, and will not learn or listen, is a clear and present danger to the safety and security of the country and the world.  Trump is without a doubt the most ignorant and most uninformed, and therefore the most incompetent, President in the history of the United States. 

Trump must go!
