TRUMP IS A SOCIOPATH

We all know Trump is the ultimate textbook narcissist.  A multitude of psychologists have suggested the diagnosis – and it is obvious even to the layperson. 

But Trump is also a sociopath.

According to the Mayo Clinic -

“Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. People with antisocial personality disorder tend to antagonize, manipulate or treat others harshly or with callous indifference. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior.”

Among the symptoms of this disorder include -

• Persistent lying or deceit to exploit others.

• Being callous, cynical and disrespectful of others.

• Arrogance, a sense of superiority and being extremely opinionated.

• Lack of empathy for others and lack of remorse about harming others.

• Failure to consider the negative consequences of behavior or learn from them.

And Psychology Today tells us -

“Sociopathy refers to a pattern of antisocial behaviors and attitudes, including manipulation, deceit, aggression, and a lack of empathy for others.”

“The defining characteristic of the sociopath is a profound lack of conscience  ".

If you ask me this describes Trump to a “T”.

 

NO OTHER RATIONAL EXPLANATION

As a general rule I do not believe in or endorse conspiracy theories – although I do have my doubts about the official version of the JFK assassination.

But I do seriously and sincerely believe that it is very possible, perhaps even likely, that, because of his association with Jeffrey Epstein, Trump has documentation of the sexual perversions, “eccentricities” and indiscretions of leaders of the Republican Party and Republican members of Congress, which he is using as blackmail.

There really is no other rational explanation for the Republican Party totally abandoning all integrity, honor and credibility by continuing to support, defend and enable the constant multitude of unethical, immoral, unconstitutional, illegal, and just plain bad words and actions of Trump.

Because of the Republican Party’s total embrace of Trump, for whatever reasons, I will never again in my lifetime vote for any Republican candidate for any office at any level who does not publicly denounce and disavow Trump and the Party’s support and enabling of Trump.

FYI – I voted for Mitt Romney in 2012.

 

WHO AND WHAT I BELIEVE

I do not believe a word, official or otherwise, Trump says about anything.

I do not believe anything said, official or otherwise, by the members of Trump’s cabinet or his political appointees.

I believe Dr Fauci and the doctors of the CDC.

I believe Democratic Governors and Mayors. 

I believe the intelligence community.

I believe career government employees and officials.

I believe Trump is totally devoid of humanity, integrity, honor, character, intelligence, ethics, and morality.  

I believe Trump does not care one ounce about anything but himself and his personal self-interest and that his only priority and his only motivation for anything he says and does is his own personal self-interest.

I believe Trump’s cabinet and political appointees are not acting in the best interest of the country and that their primary motivation and priority is protecting Trump and their own self-interests. 

I believe the National Republican Party has abandoned all integrity and all credibility as a legitimate political party and that its primary motivation and priority is protecting Trump and maintaining power and control.

I believe the future of America, American democracy, American values, and the world depends on removing Trump and his Administration from office.

None of the above beliefs are based on political partisanship or political philosophy.  They are based on intelligent observation and common sense. 

NOTHING HAS CHANGED

I recall many years ago, probably in the late 1990s, driving in my car in New Jersey and listening to AM radio – WNBC or WNEW – when after a news or station id break there was something like “A Minute with Donald Trump” (I don’t remember the exact name).

Moron Trump commented on a current political or social issue or event for a minute or so, followed by a minute or so hawking one of his soon to be failed vanity products – Trump Water, Trump Steaks, Trump Mattresses, etc.

I remember that my original reaction at the time was – “Who gives a rat’s hind quarters what this self-absorbed idiot has to say about anything?”

Now it is 2020 and the moron is the President of the United States.

My reaction today is still the same –

Who gives a rat’s hind quarters what this self-absorbed idiot has to say about anything!

 

FASCIST!

Definition of fascism -

"A political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition"

Wait - doesn’t this also describe Trump and the Trump Presidency?

And "social regimentation" defines the agenda of the so-called "evangelists" and Religious Right who support Trump.

NARCISSIST-IN-CHIEF

Narcissistic Personality Disorder has nine traits -  

Grandiosity – This is an unrealistic view of oneself that they are bigger than life and better than others

Arrogant and Domineering – think they are better than everyone else. They know more than anyone else. Controlling of others and dominating.

Preoccupation with Success and Power 

Lack of empathy – an inability to care about the feelings of others or put themselves in someone else’s shoes

Belief of being unique – they feel very different than other people, like there is only one person that is anything like them at all

Sense of entitlement – They are owed things.  They are entitled to anything and everything that they want and desire, including taking over the lives of other people. There is no appreciation when people do anything for them because they were entitled to it, in the first place.

Requires excessive admiration – they want to be admired and paid attention to all the time. They have no tolerance for anyone else being in the spotlight.

Exploitative – they will take advantage of other people for their own best interest. They will take more than they give, refuse to pay people for their services in a fair way …if at all, and use people up until there is nothing left of them

Envious of others – they are resentful when other people have things that they feel entitles to. They become angry when they see that other people have things that they do not

Put them all together they spell DONALD T RUMP!

THE WORST OF THE WORST

To say a person has no worth and no value is the ultimate critique.

This is what Donald T Rump says, wrongly, every day about anyone who questions or criticizes him.  In his mind, if that person has no worth or value than his or her questions and criticism have no worth or value. 

I can say, with all sincerity, based on his every word, deed and “tweet”, there is absolutely no doubt that Donald T Rump is totally worthless and totally valueless. 

Trump is completely devoid of humanity, integrity and honor, and does not possess a single redeeming positive human quality.  He has never performed a single totally unselfish positive act in his entire adult life.  He contributes nothing positive to society or humanity, and never has. 

Everything he says and does is based solely on his ignorance, narcissism, sociopathy, and delusions of grandeur, and to promote his own personal self-interests.  His only “agenda” in life is to feed his ego and line his pockets.  He clearly does not care about anyone or anything but himself.

Donald T Rump is the absolute worst human being to hold national public office in at least my lifetime and must be removed from the White House as soon as possible by any legitimate means available.

And we must also remove from office the deplorable and despicable Republicans in Congress who have, and continue to, support, defend and enable Trump.
