PRESIDENTIAL
QUALITIES
What
are the qualities that are needed in a President of the United States?
*
Intelligence and a desire for knowledge.
He or she does not need to be an expert in every issue, but must have a
basic understanding of the issues and the desire to learn more.
*
Competence in the area of diplomacy, negotiation, leadership, and
administration.
*
Respect for the Constitution, law and justice, and the office of the Presidency.
*
An open mind. The ability to listen to,
and respect, advisors and colleagues, political opponents, and individuals in and out of government with
opposing and differing opinions, philosophies and proposals.
*
An understanding of the duties, responsibilities and limitations of the office
of the President.
*
What I call “the four H’s” – honesty, humility, humor, and humanity.
*
And, of course, character - moral strength and integrity.
Donald
T Rump does not possess a single one of these qualities.
